Smartphone Coasters Make Great Stands for your Phone

<Category: Apple, iPhone> No comment

Smartphone Coasters are a simple yet very useful idea. Smartphone Coasters are stainless steel stands that support your phone, no matter which brand it is, in both vertical and horizontal positions. Rarely do phones come with kickstands so these stands come in handy when you want to use your Smartphone as a large clock or with any app that has a dashboard UI. But the best use for these stands is when you want to watch videos. These stands are way better than holding your phone in a certain position for an hour or so.

Only recently, I watched a video showcasing the new ‘Plug and Touch’ technology which enables the N8 to turn any screen into a touch screen. Nokia isn’t giving up the fight too easy I assume. Another video has emerged, claiming to be the world’s smallest stop motion video and it’s been filmed with N8’s 12MP camera with the help of Cellscope technology. The UK animators Aardman, creators of Wallace and Gromit and Flushed Away are now also the proud creators of the world’s smallest stop motion animation.

According to Steve Jobs, the iPhone 4 antenna problem is not a unique problem and all smartphones suffer from it. Apple showed ‘death grip’ demonstration videos of RIM, Samsung and HTC smartphones in the iPhone 4 press conference and also uploaded these videos to their website and on their YouTube channel. Apart from showing video of these smartphones, Jobs also mentioned that Nokia , Motorola and other companies have the same problem in their smartphones. After some days, Apple posted a death grip video of Nokia smartphone N97 and Motorola’s latest smartphone Droid X. Apple has probably proved their point now and that’s why they have removed these antenna performance videos of other smartphones from their website.
