Office 2010 Beta has been released for MSDN and TechNet users along with Office Web Applications. Office 2010 Beta is available as only Professional Plus SKU (32 bit and 64 bit variants) while Office Web Apps are available in x64 variant only for self hosting in corporate environments. Read more...

Office 2010 Public Beta is expected soon and the confirmation comes from a tweet from the official Microsoft Office Twitter account which says that the Office team has some exciting news to tell at PDC which starts on the 17th of November, in Los Angeles. Read more...

Microsoft has not announced Office Web Apps for the iPhone or iPod Touch currently, but there’s a workaround to get it running on these devices. The edit link for documents isn’t there when you open them in SkyDrive on the Mobile Safari browser due to lack of support. While the experience of running OWA is very similar to how it works on a PC without Silverlight support, you can’t actually edit anything, since the keyboard doesn’t come up for text editing fields.
