Who doesn’t love free applications? But I don’t mind paying for professional high-quality applications, but come on! Who wouldn’t like using free apps! According to Distimo, Android Market has the highest percentage of free applications (don’t forget it has 25,000+ apps! available.

Nokia says that the new version of Ovi Maps which includes the free navigation system has been downloaded 1.4 million times since it was introduced on the 21st of January of this year.
Nokia adds that they hit 1 million just after one week of launching the update.

The holiday season is here and the people over at the Nokia Ovi Store have decided to be generous the whole month of December. They are offering free premium apps all this month for touch screen Nokia devices! Everyday, a new app will be up for grabs, all you have to do is follow @ovibynokia on twitter and stay updated as to which app will be free each day.
Last week Nokia announced their Windows based Nokia Booklet 3G. After 25 years of pioneering in mobile devices, Nokia has stepped into a relatively new field. At the Nokia World 09 conference, the full specification list was revealed and so was the hefty price tag. The Booklet will be priced 575 Euro ($820).
