A lot of people have been having issues with Push notifications not working on their hacktivated iPhones (2G, 3G, 3G S). There was a fix available for this issue called PushFix available in Cydia, but it stopped working after a while. But now version 2.0 of PushFix is available and it actually works. How the developer gets it to work is by creating unique certificates for each device which results in Push notifications working for everyone unlike in PushFix 1.0 where a few working certificates were being used by many people.
