Mozilla have been churning out betas for Firefox 4 like anything. I’ve been following the progress of the betas closely and there has been a lot of progress through out the development life cycle for Firefox 4 so far although it’s still not Google Chrome like fast yet.

The long awaited Internet Explorer 9 Release Candidate (RC) has just gone live and is now available for download via official links from Microsoft. The company is planning to unveil the IE 9 RC at a special event in San Francisco today. Internet Explorer 9 introduces tons of new features and security enhancements such as Tracking Protection, a new privacy feature and ActiveX filter that adds the ability to block ActiveX controls. Visual Studio 2010, the latest version of Microsoft’s IDE with a new improved UI built using WPF and tools for Windows 7 and SharePoint 2010 development has already been delayed. Originally slated for 22nd March, the release was delayed to performance issues. The latest launch date has been set for April 12, 2010. Appropriately, Microsoft has delivered a release candidate build for Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4 framework. It is currently available for download to MSDN subscribers while it will be available for public download on 10th February. Read more...
