The awesome ‘Dream Team’, comprised of the iPhone Dev Team and the Chronic Dev Team rolled out the public release of Corona A5 jailbreak tool for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S. Chronic Dev Team was the first to roll out an app called Absinthe which lets users quickly jailbreak their A5 processor iOS devices. Initially released on OS X only, with the Windows version to follow, this app lets you jailbreak your device without even putting it in DFU mode. Apple Release iOS 5 Beta 6 for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad
Apple has just released the latest iOS 5 beta, version 6, for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. This release is accompanied by iTunes 10.5 beta 6 as well as Xcode 4.2 preview 6. Apple TV software beta 5 is also out as well as iWork for iOS beta 2.

iOS 4.3 to release at 10AM PST Today!
This just in! iOS 4.3 is set to release for iPhone 3GS/4, iPod Touch 3G/4G, iPad and iPad 2 at 10AM PST today according to BGR’s sources. iOS 4.3 will bring Air Play support to third party apps, hardware rotation lock/mute switch option as well as Personal Hotspot amongst others. Apple will fix lock screen security flaw with iOS 4.2 release this month
A security flaw was discovered recently in iOS which allows anyone to gain access to your contact list, photos, music and even place calls on your iPhone despite having a locked screen. This flaw, discovered by a forum member at MacRumors, effects iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4 and has been highlighted a lot amongst the tech media which in turn got Apple’s attention.
According to CNET, Apple plans to fix this flaw in the upcoming iOS 4.2 update.
iWork Apps for iPad Updated to 1.2 with New Features and Improvements
Apple has just released a very welcoming update to iWork suite of productivity apps which includes Pages, Keynote and Numbers for iPad. These updates include the ability to export Keynote presentations as PowerPoints (.PPT) and Numbers spreadsheets to Microsoft Excel (.XLS) format. This will definitely make iWork much more useful than before although it has to be noted that during export, some edits are lost as Office and iWork don’t support the same animations and layouts etc. This is true for Pages as well.
Apple: WiFi iPad Launching in China starting September 17th
This should be huge for Apple. iPad will be officially launching in China on September 17th, in WiFi flavor only though. iPad was launched a few months ago and has captured a lot of market despite having launched in only a few countries so far. The step into China should increase their market share[1. The market currently belongs to them only. We don’t see any real competitors in the wild.] tremendously.

As expected, iOS 4.1 has been released via iTunes 10. If you’re not on a jailbroken or unlocked iPhone, go get it. Else, stay back and wait for jailbreak and unlock tools to be available.
Apple will launch iPad in 9 more countries this Friday
Today Apple announced that the iPad will be available in nine more countries starting 23rd of this month which will be Friday. The countries which will have iPad on this Friday are Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore. Both the Wifi and 3G models of iPad would be available at launch with pricing according to the Apple’s country-specific sites and stores pricing.
Apple will start shipping White iPhone 4 by the end of July
Just before the launch of iPhone 4, Apple had told in an official statement that white iPhone 4 models are a little bit more challenging to manufacture than the black iPhone 4. So, it was announced that the white iPhone 4 would be available after mid of July. But during the iPhone 4 launch in UK, two white iPhone 4 were spotted in a video by Sky News, way before its was supposed to be launched. Later it was found out that those were review units of white iPhone 4 and they were not given to regular iPhone 4 buyers. Steve Jobs has announced in the special press conference for iPhone 4 today that they will start shipping White iPhone 4 by the end of July.
