Apple has finally released the much awaited first beta version of iOS 4.1 along with its development kit. iOS 4.1 beta has been released for iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4 and iPod Touch 2G and 3G. There is not much information yet on what are the main changes in this new release.

Visual Studio 2010 had been in testing ( betas, release candidate ) since some time now . Today, Microsoft has finally launched Visual Studio 2010 and Microsoft .NET Framework 4. Silverlight 4 will also be released to Web in the later part of this week.

Shortage in iPad inventories could delay launch

When the iPad starts to arrive to the market later this month, it might have limited availability, and may leave pre-order customers empty-handed, that is if it is going to be released this month at all. In a research note, Canaccord Adams analyst Peter Misek says that production issues at Apple’s manufacturing company may keep Apple iPad’s supply short when it will be first released.

Visual Studio 2010 Release Candidate

Visual Studio 2010, the latest version of Microsoft’s IDE with a new improved UI built using WPF and tools for Windows 7 and SharePoint 2010 development has already been delayed. Originally slated for 22nd March, the release was delayed to performance issues. The latest launch date has been set for April 12, 2010. Appropriately, Microsoft has delivered a release candidate build for Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4 framework. It is currently available for download to MSDN subscribers while it will be available for public download on 10th February.

Samsung might release their world’s first OLED Laptop in 12 months.

Last month, we read news and saw a video of the very first and the world’s largest OLED screen laptop. Now, we’re reading reports that Samsung might actually release this laptop in the next 12 months. Another one of Samsung’s world first is their transparent OLED display music player, Samsung IceTouch. Seems like Samsung wants to rule the transparent screen market.
