It’s that time of the year again when the next flagship Android phone is released, yet again, to dethrone the current contender. Normally, the attraction to upgrade is based on the feature set of the device. But when you look at the Galaxy S and then Nexus S, there aren’t many benefits in upgrading apart from a few features such as NFC, gyroscope and flash. But the major feature in Nexus S is Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread. Digitimes is reporting that Apple will be shipping 24 million iPhone 4G units in 2010. If this repot is correct, Apple would cross the 100 million iDevices sold mark this year. Whether you like it or hate it, the hardware specifications on the iPad are nothing to laugh at. There have been many tablets ( Android and Windows ) before the iPad, but in terms of looks and hardware, Apple has really done an awesome job considering the low price (starting from $499). The device weighs in at just 1.5 pounds and the thickness is just 0.5 inches. The back is made of aluminum just like the iPod Touch.
