So much has been written on Steve Jobs by long time users and industry veterans – people who loved him and hated him. I hadn’t written my take on his death yet as it’s difficult to accept that someone you admire isn’t there anymore. Most love him because of the products he made, the successes he had and how he made technology and creativity tango like they’re meant to be. I was inspired when I found out who he was and how he viewed life.

For all those in the dark, or who just forgot, pre-orders for the new iPhone 4S begin tomorrow morning at 12:01 PDT. That is in approximately 1 hour. I am online and waiting to get mine, and so should you. Expect to see some weird activity, as the site will be getting hit hard with lots more people trying to get their phone. You probably know by now that Apple’s co-founder Steve Jobs has stepped down from his position as CEO. To take his place, Steve Jobs recommended Tim Cook to be the next Chief Executive Officer of the company.

The tech world is in shock today as Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, has resigned. Steve will become chairman of the board, but Tim Cook (COO) will step in his place, following Steve’s own recommendation. Seeing as Tim has stood in for Steve during his medical leaves, this should come as no surprise to anyone.

If you don’t know your US history, then you might not be aware that this Challenger mission was a failure to NASA, exploding in mid-air, killing everyone aboard. Supposedly, according to CultOfMac, Steve Jobs tried to buy his way onto the shuttle, replacing the school teacher Christa McAuliffe. This was reported to them via a Russian TV Crew. When asked where they got their information, they stated that is was information from Russia. Possibly a KGB leak? Possibly a way for Russia to vocally attack the US? Who knows?

Even though a lot has been written on Steve Jobs and there are already some books on him but “iSteve: The Book of Jobs” will be the official Steve Jobs biography, according to ABC News. This Walter Isaacson Authorized Biography of Steve Jobs will be published by Simon and Shuster in early 2012.

According to MacStories, iOS 4.2 may be released this Friday. This latest version of iOS will be compatible with the iPad which will bring many new features to the tablet including folders and multitasking.The GM version was released last week to developers which usually suggests that it will be released to the public soon.
