A report published by TechCrunch early this week revealed Apple’s plans to integrate Twitter in iOS 5 for easy sharing of photos and other content. The claim was backed up by an official announcement from Twitter the very next day stating that it will soon launch its own photo sharing service as well as a hint from John Gruber of Daring Fireball that Apple will indeed be building Twitter deeply into iOS 5. Official Twitter app for iPhone / iPad just got updated to v3.3 and with it came a big annoyance. Yes thats right, I call it a “big” annoyance coz it actually screws up the whole minimalistic design of Twitter iPhone app. Its called the “Quick Bar” or a trend bar, whatever they want us to call it but most definitely, we are not buying it at all. Its basically a translucent notification bar at the top of your timeline that shows Twitter’s beloved and promoted trends (or Ads) which are most of the time, pretty lame. What’s more annoying is that it keeps showing up each time you tap the timeline tab or even when switching between different tabs, duh!

Upload Photos To Facebook & Twitter Directly From iPhone’s Camera App!

iSocialShare is the first of its kind jailbreak tweak which lets you upload photos right from your iPhone’s native Camera.app to your Facebook & Twitter accounts. The tweak is now available on cydia store for any jaibroken iPhone / iPod running iOS4. Once downloaded and installed, iSocialShare adds a “cloud” icon to the Photos application at the top right side of navigation bar. Once you tap the cloud button, a menu pops up with options to share the picture on your favorite social networks.

Windows Phone 7 To Get Multitasking, Xbox Kinect Support, Internet Explorer 9 & Twitter Integration [Video]

Microsoft has officially announced that two updates for Windows Phone 7 will be released this year bringing tons of new features in addition to the much awaited Copy / Paste feature which will be added in the first update, due out by March. This update will also bring CDMA support and some performance enhancements. Another major update scheduled for later this year will add improved multitasking, simultaneous game play with an Xbox 360 using Kinect, Twitter integration and full Internet Explorer 9 browsing experience.
