Sobees web is a web version of bDule – a Twitter/Facebook client for Windows with a new twist though. It’s made of Silverlight 3 and supports Silverlight out of Browser experience.
It’s a fully featured Twitter client with support for multiple accounts, RT, pictures, URL shortening and much more. The Facebook part of Sobees web isn’t functional yet, but to get a taste of how it works, you can try out bDule. Sobees web also has real-time search for OneRiot, Twitter and FriendFeed. You can set up multiple search columns by choosing your preferred layout for Sobees Web.
The interface is clean and streamlined. There’s nothing new to notice in it if you’ve used any other Twitter client like Seesmic Desktop or TweetDeck. The difference between Sobees Web and other clients is the multiple layout support. You have a wide variety of layouts to choose from, and you can even chose to run many Twitter accounts or real-time searches in them. It’s very helpful if you need to keep track of particular keywords or trends on Twitter. Read more...

Microsoft has come up with a cool new feature for Bing. It has started showing tweets in the results for popular Twitter users. Tweets with profile image and link show up when you search for popular Twitter users such as Robert Scoble or @aplusk. This is one of the first integrations of Twitter by a major search engine by default, as you can already ad similar capabilities to Yahoo Search through the Yahoo Search Gallery, which isn’t that convenient.
To see the tweets, you’ll have to use the word twitter, tweet or @{Twitter user name} in your search query on Bing. This doesn’t work perfectly yet as I found out because when I search for @aplusk, this is what I get:
But, change the query to Ashton Kutcher Tweets, and this is what you get: Read more...

This has got to be one of the most interesting Twitter websites I’ve used in recent times. TweetPsych analyzes your tweets to build a psychological profile for you. It works by using two linguistic analysis algorithms on the content of a person’s recent 1000 tweets. The resulting profile shows different types of content it finds in your tweets and their score. Like if you’re really full of yourself and Tweet about yourself a lot, it’ll let you know. The results cover cognitive content, primordial, conceptual and emotional content and also shows fellow Twitter users who match your psychological profile. If you think your psychological profile is worth it, you can also share it using the tweet this button, with your Twitter friends and followers.
I wouldn’t say much about my own result, you can see it below as a sample, but I’m happy to know Felicia Day and I think alike.

Microsoft Vine is the Redmond Giant’s take on Twitter. It’s actually more focused on the real time web and happenings rather than starting conversations as in Twitter. Vine will be used to stay in touch, informed and involved when it matters. It comes with its own slick looking desktop app, based on WPF. Read more...

Blu, the WPF Twitter app for Windows XP and beyond, has been finally updated with the long awaited Twitpic integration, and have they nailed it! It has a very simple but intuitive way of uploading the images, without any extra clicks or hassle what so ever. Actually, it’s a ‘clickless’ process just like the TinyURL integration in Blu.
The main UI hasn’t changed much except for the Tweet panels looking bigger than before and some other nice little touches. Animations and scrolling seem faster and much smoother now. Clicking a hashtag opens up the search results in a browser now.
Here’s a walkthrough of the major changes and new features in this update.
Twitpic integration:
Just drag and image to the application and it’ll automatically be set for uploading on the side.

*chirp just got updated and renamed to blu. TinyURL integration is available in the new version. Just paste in the URL and it’ll convert into a TinyURL. It’s really that simple. The performance also seems noticeably faster in blu than chirp. chirp used to hog around 110 MB of memory for me, where as blu just uses 36 MB. Read more...

☼ ♥ ✈☺♬. Want these smileys in your tweets? TwitterKeys fills your tweets with graphics. It has a UTF compatible set of characters which can be used as smileys for your tweets. It is targeted towards Twitter users, but the characters also work on Facebook. This means your conversations wont be composed of just plain text anymore. Using it is very simple. Just select any character and then copy and paste it in your Tweet. TwitterKeys can also be bookmarked for easy access to the characters. You can do so by dragging this link to your bookmarks toolbar: TwitterKeys.

I’ve been using various Twitter clients over the past few months ranging from Tweet Deck to Destroy Twitter. While I absolutely loved Destroy Twitter, *chirp by thirteen23 has totally blown me away! It’s the kind of application that’ll make you proud of being a Windows user and jealous if you’re not. Built on WPF (Windows Presentation Framework), *chirp gives you an experience that really surprises you from the word go. Indeed, thirteen23 know how to show the awesome potential of software. Granted, it’s low on features, like no tinypic integration or tinyurl, but what it lacks for in features, it makes up for them in the experience department. Read on for a review of this coolest Twitter client yet. Read more...
