Pingdom is a service which lets you keep track of the uptime of your website. It alerts you through various methods whenever your website goes down. Not so long ago, Pingdom had started giving a free account with the most basic services which worked fine with its free iPhone app. The app let you know when your site suffered from downtime along with the exact timings and such details.
