According to Steve Jobs, the iPhone 4 antenna problem is not a unique problem and all smartphones suffer from it. Apple showed ‘death grip’ demonstration videos of RIM, Samsung and HTC smartphones in the iPhone 4 press conference and also uploaded these videos to their website and on their YouTube channel. Apart from showing video of these smartphones, Jobs also mentioned that Nokia , Motorola and other companies have the same problem in their smartphones. After some days, Apple posted a death grip video of Nokia smartphone N97 and Motorola’s latest smartphone Droid X. Apple has probably proved their point now and that’s why they have removed these antenna performance videos of other smartphones from their website. Read more...

Flickr really knows how to do images well. Whether on the desktop or a mobile browser, and now this stands true for an iPhone app as well because Flickr has really nailed it with its official app. Not only does it let you search and browse for images, you can upload photos and videos ( from iPhone 3G S ) along with geo-tagging. Rejoice Zune HD users! Apps will be coming to the Tegra based powerful device. A video has been uploaded by a person trying out the Zune HD and finding out the Apps category in the Marketplace which is further confirmed by the other person demoing it. That person doesn’t reply when asked about an SDK though. Plus we have no idea on where they would be installed. My guess is an App link in the main menu when one is installed or after a software update because strangely, Microsoft is still not advertising Apps as a feature. Read more...
