Microsoft takes down Hardware Virtualization requirement for XP mode in Windows 7

The whole aim of XP mode is to allow users to run apps from Windows XP which aren’t compatible with Windows 7, but sadly some people weren’t able to use Windows XP mode because it required hardware virtualization. Microsoft has taken down that barrier as well.

What is server virtualization? You must have heard that term used a lot by Microsoft, Intel and the likes, but might not know what it does and why do we need it. Intel have made an interesting video with animation and narration on server virtualization. Although it’s totally focused on Intel’s own technologies, it provides a good understanding of server virtualization as well. A must see if you’re into virtualization!
