Google unveiled a whole new redesigned YouTube interface last week.
Google has been redesigning their products in the last few days, starting with Google+, then Google Search, Gmail, Google Maps and now YouTube.

It is surely as strange as it sounds that the vastly hyped Motorola XOOM tablet running latest Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS is missing the YouTube application for many customers. A large number of buyers have been complaining about the disappearing of YouTube on their tablets, an app that the company had advertised quite strongly while promoting its new tablet. Even after multiple factory resets, as instructed by the manufacturer’s official support forum, users seem to be running out of luck when trying to get YouTube re-installed.

A cool new app that has recently been submitted to the AppStore called AirFrame brings the ability to stream your photos as well as videos including youtube via AirPlay feature between two different iOS devices supporting iPhone, iPod touch as well as the iPad. At the same it, the app also supports streaming from iTunes (both Mac & PC) as well as other AirPlay enabled applications (e.g. AirVideo, YouTube). However, the app currently does not support music streaming.

Jennifer Aniston has appeared in a new Smart Water ad, up now on YouTube, which includes just about everything that can make it go viral despite already having the popular celebrity. It makes fun of memes such as double rainbow, dancing babies, puppies and a lot more.

The ability to export your iMovie project directly to YouTube isn’t actually as awesome as it sounds. I’m not sure if the problem is with iMovie ’11 alone or its found in the older versions too but since my personal experience is with the latest version, I assume its a problem with iMovie YouTube upload feature in general. What happens is, whenever I try to upload a video to YouTube it goes smoothly though the whole rendering and uploading process, but when it says the video has been successfully uploaded and gives me a direct link to the video, it doesn’t show up online at all on my YouTube account or even as a “processing” video.

Ever since the launch of T-Mobile’s G1 phone, Android has been sold like hotcakes. The Operating System has pretty much ruled the OS market along with iOS and as we speak it continues to grow further on cellular networks. Android 3.0 Honeycomb is the latest Android update mainly for tablets but it is yet to be seen as its release draws nearer and nearer. Having said that, T-Mobile and its freshly announced G-Slate tablet designed by LG leaked several videos that show off Google’s new tablet OS.

HTC have taken it on themselves to release a YouTube app for their Windows Phone 7 Devices. It’s a horrible fact that Microsoft didn’t bother to include a YouTube app, amongst many other features, in Windows Phone 7. Call it version 1.0 or whatever you like, but even iPhone had it since version 1.0

YouTube has a great design for all the countless number of video hours it clocks every day. YouTube greeted me with a new message as I logged in today for my daily dose of lolcats and what not.
They’re testing a new homepage layout that will definitely remind you of Facebook.

Apple is slowly removing flash from almost all of their devices. It first started with no support for flash in their iOS devices and now the new MacBook Air ships without flash (although it can be installed manually). But this makes almost no difference to Mac users as HTML5 is the future technology for vide and rich internet applications according to Apple and most websites are already adjusting according to that. Mac users would also have noticed that while using YouTube, their MacBooks get hotter as Flash consumes a lot more CPU cycles than most applications. But you can now install a new YouTube5 Safari extension which makes sure that YouTube videos will be e-wrapped as an HTML5 video stream.

Love him or hate him ( why would you ? ), Geohotz is the awesome dude who first unlocked the iPhone. This wiz kid went on to create many more jailbreak tools and find cool exploits that made him even more famous. He’s thought to be needy for attention and arrogant, but we disagree. If you could find exploits single handedly in Apple’s products, you would seem the same to many people.
