Windows 8 Time-Bomb Removal Tool Released

A pre-release build of Windows 8(build 7850) was leaked a while back, revealing new features like push notifications and a webcam app. This same build, which has been made available to the greater part of the internet, is an expired build. Each Windows 8 pre-release build has a built-in ‘time-bomb’, which deactivates the build after 30 days. But if you were hoping to tinker with the build, there are actually two ways you can still do so.

One such method requires a lot of patience, as it is a manual removal of the time-bomb. The second method is an activator tool that can remove/restore the time-bomb and activate Windows 8 build 7850.

We at iTD do not recommend downloading any Windows 8 leaked builds or the activation tools due to both illegality and the possibility of a trojan/malware-infected build.
