iPhone 12 leaks confirm price: from $649 for OLED model with 5G

There is no shortage of iPhone 12 leaks in the tech world, with the latest one reporting the prices of all four rumored models for Apple’s 2020 fall release.

If tech analyst Jon Prosser’s iPhone 12 leaks turn out to be true, the new smartphones prices will range from $649 to $1099. The 5.4-inch iPhone 12 and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 will cost $649 and $749 respectively, while the Pro model will start at $999, and Pro Max model at $1,099.

Jon Prosser’s new iPhone 12 leaks reveal that the Pro and Pro Max version will start at the same prices as iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Apple keeping its prices the same is the best thing that can be hoped for, after recent reports of improved specs, better features, and supposedly bigger screens dropping later this year.

iPhone 12 Leaks – Expected Upgrades

According to his tweet, the iPhone 12 Pro will come with a 6.1-inch OLED screen, while the iPhone 12 Pro Max will be equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED screen. Previously, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max came with 5.8 and 6.5-inch screens, respectively. He also reports that both iPhone 12 Pro models will have 3 cameras and LiDAR. All models will support 5G, feature A14 bionic chips, and presumably bigger batteries to support higher 120Hz refresh rates with ProMotion support, and improved Face ID features.

Some prominent leaks which came to light in the past include production delays due to COVID-19, ultrasonic fingerprint technology support, smaller notch and thin bezels, sensor-shift image stabilization, iPad Pro inspired designs, and much more. Prosser followed-up his tweet by sharing that he is confident with the said prices as the source that provided him with these also revealed iPhone SE features and release dates to him. Prosser had accurately identified the release date of iPhone SE correctly and is a popular Apple leaker in the tech world now, therefore the public has good reason to believe his latest leaks.

Whether or not Apple is able to ship iPhone 12 on time, the company is expected to announce its features and pricing in September. Shipping might be delayed to October for specific models, which can be attributed to production delays.
