Microsoft has released new commercials starring Windows 10 PCs and their features, while at the same time, taking a shot at Macs and OS X. The narrative of the 4 videos revolves around these bug chicks discussing how useful some of the features in Windows 10 are such as Inking, Hello and Cortana.
Microsoft has worked hard on making Windows 10’s storage footprint smaller than its predecessors. Some of this is due to a new compression feature in Windows 10 called Compact OS which intelligently runs behind the scenes and compresses operating system files to save space.
Windows 10 has pushed users towards a more friendly desktop user interface, after the debacle of Windows 8’s mixed mode. However, with more attention towards desktop experience, Microsoft seems to have dropped the ball on the tablet mode. Microsoft seems to be working towards brining back some of the best tablet features of Windows 8 to Windows 10 with the latest insider preview build.
Microsoft has announced the release of Windows 10 Insider Preview build 10547 to Fast Ring users. There are a lot of changes and improvements in this new release even though it is not a major version number changes from the Windows 10 Fast Ring release. Windows 10 build 10537 was recently leaked online with some changes but it was not release officially by Microsoft.
Microsoft has announced its Windows 10 devices event to be held on October 6 at the Skylight at Moynihan Station in New York City. The event will show off Microsoft’s hardware updates. As per rumors and expectations, the long awaited Windows 10 Mobile Lumia phones could be announced, along with Surface 4, Microsoft Band version 2, and there would likely be some news about Hololens.
Windows 10 build 10537 has been leaked online for download. The new build, not available for Preview Insiders, contains some user interface updates, including close animations for Store apps, grey right click menu and updated icons in many places through the operating system. Microsoft Wi-Fi app has also been found in this build although it does not work.
Twitter for Windows 10 has received a much needed update that brings some missing features to the app including quoted tweets, multiple accounts support, lists and a new ‘happening now’ section for trending stories, which does not exist on other platforms so far.

The game takes Lara Croft through ancient ruins and tombs, while taking on different challenges and solving puzzles to proceed. The game combines the challenging puzzles with brilliant visuals, animations and a good soundtrack.
Microsoft has announced the release of Windows 10 Insider Preview build 10532 to Fast ring. Compared to the previous Fast ring insider build, version 10525, this seems to be a minor update.
Windows 10 has been installed on 75 million PCs (laptops, desktops, tablets, 2-in-1) so far. The news was broken by Yusuf Mehdi, Corporate Vice President of Windows and Devices Group at Microsoft, on Twitter. What is even staggering is that it took only 27 days for Windows 10 to reach this number as it was launched on 29th July.
