Sony PS3 slim to release this month?

Engadget has pounced on some rumors that Sony has signed manufacturing agreements with Foxconn and Pegatron to build the PS3 slim in time for July delivery. The screenshot above is one of the many photos that Engadget caught on camera of the rumored PS3 slim. They themselves believe that the PS3 slim, if real, won’t make an appearance before August, but then the claims for a July release are backed by credible reports. If the PS3 Slim with 120GB hard disk is released in the coming months, I expect a sharp rise in sales for Sony. But as long as there’s an official announcement, we can only dream.
