Apple fall 2025 lineup to include new Watch, iPad Pro, Vision Pro update, and more

Apple’s September event will not only showcase the iPhone 17 lineup but also a wide range of other hardware updates across its product ecosystem. While the iPhone remains the centerpiece, Bloomberg reports that Apple is preparing upgrades for Apple Watch, Vision Pro, iPad Pro, AirPods Pro, HomePod mini, and Apple TV.

iPad Pro with M5 chip

According to Bloomberg, the upcoming iPad Pro models will be powered by the new M5 processor. This update will deliver faster performance and improved efficiency, reinforcing the iPad Pro’s position as Apple’s most powerful tablet. The M5 chip is expected to give the device stronger multitasking and productivity capabilities, keeping it ahead of competing tablets.

Vision Pro performance boost

Apple’s Vision Pro headset will also receive an internal speed bump this fall. While adoption of the device has been limited, Apple continues to refine its performance to deliver smoother immersive experiences and better support for spatial apps. The update is incremental but signals Apple’s commitment to improving the platform despite slower-than-expected sales.

Apple Watch and AirPods Pro

The Apple Watch is expected to receive routine updates, extending its role as Apple’s most popular wearable. AirPods Pro, however, may see more significant improvements with new health-tracking features such as heart-rate monitoring. If introduced, this would expand Apple’s focus on health across devices and strengthen integration between Watch, iPhone, and AirPods.

Home entertainment updates

Apple is also preparing upgrades to its HomePod mini and Apple TV. Although details remain limited, both products are expected to receive modest performance improvements and possible new features to keep Apple competitive in the smart home space. The HomePod mini is particularly due for a refresh, as its hardware has not seen meaningful changes since launch.

Together, these product updates demonstrate Apple’s strategy of keeping momentum across its ecosystem. Incremental improvements to Watch, AirPods, and home devices maintain Apple’s dominance in cross-device integration, while iPad Pro and Vision Pro updates ensure that Apple remains competitive in both productivity and emerging spatial computing. By layering these changes alongside the iPhone 17, Apple ensures that its September event appeals to a wide audience of users.
