Adobe has officially announced that Premiere, its professional-grade video editing software, is coming to both the iPhone and iPad on September 30, 2025. The mobile version is designed to be fast, free, and intuitive, giving creators access to advanced editing tools without watermarks or distractions. Premiere for iPhone and iPad goes far beyond the capabilities of Adobe Premiere Rush, which was built for quick edits and social media workflows. The new app supports multi-track editing with frame-accurate trimming, allowing users to work with unlimited video, audio, and text layers. Adobe has emphasized that the app delivers desktop-class performance on Apple Silicon devices, ensuring smooth playback and responsiveness even with complex projects.
In addition to core editing features, Adobe is bringing professional-level enhancements that streamline mobile workflows. Automatic captions can be generated and styled as subtitles, while support for 4K HDR ensures that content meets broadcast and cinematic standards.
