Apple Arcade is kicking off September with a slate of new titles that bring both retro sports action and classic trivia fun to subscribers. The highlight of the update is NFL Retro Bowl ’26, which arrives just in time for the start of the new football season. Alongside it, Jeopardy! Daily brings a mobile-first take on the legendary quiz show, while My Talking Tom Friends+ gives fans of the popular pet series a premium ad-free experience.
NFL Retro Bowl ’26 is available exclusively on Apple Arcade and builds on last year’s release with authentic NFL and NFLPA rosters from the 2025 season. The new Retro Bowl Championship Leaderboard mode lets players represent their favorite teams and compete in weekly matchups that mirror the league’s real schedule. This combination of retro visuals, updated rosters, and leaderboard competition blends nostalgia with the thrill of live NFL action.
Jeopardy! Daily takes the familiar format of the long-running game show and adapts it into a daily challenge. Written by the show’s official team of writers, the game delivers fresh clues each day across multiple categories. Players can upload scores to global leaderboards, compete in weekly tournaments, and test their knowledge in short, accessible play sessions designed for mobile, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.
For younger players and families, My Talking Tom Friends+ brings all of the Talking Tom and Friends characters into one place. With no ads or in-app purchases, players can take care of pets, dress them up, explore mini-games, and create fun adventures in a more seamless environment than the free-to-play versions.
Later in the month, Hello Kitty Island Adventure will expand with a new update on September 18. The Wheatflour Wonderland realm introduces Cogimyun, who guides players on a quest to unlock the Ancient Citadel and uncover hidden treasures. Regular updates also continue for other popular titles on the platform, including Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition and Mini Motorways.
Apple Arcade remains priced at $6.99 per month in the U.S. or $49.99 annually, and it is also bundled in all Apple One plans. With a catalog of over 200 games free of ads and in-app purchases, the service continues to grow with a balance of major IP-based titles and original indie experiences.
