Windows Phone 7 Series theme coming soon to Windows 7 thanks to Rainmeter

Yes, you read it right. Over at DeviantArt, fediaFedia has created a Windows Phone 7 Series theme for Windows 7 which puts up live tiles on your desktop. The theme displays Rainmeter widgets as live tiles and show information such as temperature, date and time, CPU temp, notes, feeds, twitter timeline and much more.

From first looks, the theme looks very impressive and almost brings the Metro UI to your Windows 7 desktop. So much information is showed in such a beautiful way in this theme. I can’t believe why Microsoft hasn’t done this yet. It is not available for download yet but will be soon.

  3. They do some *incredible stuff* with Rainmeter. Problem, is, it’s always desktop-related changes. I don’t know about you, but I hardly ever even see my desktop! I’m usually working and have windows open everywhere :)

    Still. Cool stuff.
