Apple Arcade is closing out the year with two major names in mobile gaming. The world’s most downloaded game, Subway Surfers, and the hit Nickelodeon sequel SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2 will headline the service’s December lineup, alongside several other big additions including PowerWash Simulator, Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition, and NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM+.
Subway Surfers+ brings the endless runner phenomenon to Apple Arcade in its best form yet. The ad-free, no in-app purchase edition delivers the same fast-paced gameplay millions already love, now with uninterrupted runs and fresh ways to collect power-ups and progress. The original Subway Surfers has earned billions of downloads since its 2012 debut, and the Apple Arcade version marks its most complete release to date.
Next month also marks the return of Bikini Bottom’s favorite duo in SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2, launching December 4. Developed by Old Skull Games and Nickelodeon, the sequel teams up SpongeBob and Plankton in a new platforming adventure to recover the Krusty Krab’s missing fry station and stop a mysterious villain threatening their world. Players can switch between the two characters, solve puzzles, and team up in local co-op mode, exploring familiar locations like Goo Lagoon and Dead Eye Gulch.
The holiday lineup expands further with several new titles. PowerWash Simulator makes its mobile debut with touch and gyroscope support, letting players relax while cleaning vehicles and buildings. Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition arrives with all prior updates, new outfits, and exclusive follower forms. And NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM+ brings high-speed 3D combat based on the hit anime series to Apple devices for the first time.
The action starts earlier for Vision Pro owners, with Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss launching November 13 as a real-time multiplayer strategy game designed for Apple’s spatial platform.
Apple Arcade also continues to grow its existing catalog. Sneaky Sasquatch, one of the service’s most popular titles, recently introduced a full farming town expansion where players can drive tractors, plant crops, and explore Grandma’s farm.
With more than 200 games available across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, Apple Arcade remains a one-stop subscription for premium gaming without ads or in-app purchases. The service costs $6.99 per month, or can be bundled with Apple One, which offers family and premier plans.
