Apple is reportedly preparing to introduce a new accessory alongside the iPhone 17 this September – a crossbody strap designed to bring style and practicality to carrying an iPhone. The strap will integrate with iPhone 17 cases and may extend compatibility to AirPods Pro 3, adding another layer to Apple’s accessory ecosystem.
According to MajinBu Official, the strap uses a flexible metal core that makes it magnetic along its entire length. Oppositely polarized rings at the ends lock securely in place, ensuring strong attachment without the need for hooks or loops. This approach is meant to make attaching and removing the strap effortless while providing a reliable hold for daily use.
Apple’s samples show the strap constructed from woven nylon, similar to the Sport Loop Band, which is lightweight and breathable. Reports also suggest a silicone variant may be planned, offering a softer texture and added flexibility. Both options would align with Apple’s minimalist design language while maintaining durability for everyday wear.
