Nanoleaf 4D V2 brings upgraded bias lighting for TVs

Home entertainment is increasingly about more than what is on screen, and Nanoleaf’s latest release is designed to make that experience even richer. The company has introduced the Nanoleaf’ 4D V2, an updated version of its bias lighting system that surrounds a TV with colors that match the action in real time. With improved color accuracy, a new flexible light strip for easier installation, and expanded features like music responsiveness, the 4D V2 builds on the original kit to deliver a more polished setup.

The light strip pairs with a camera that analyzes the colors on the screen, allowing it to instantly mirror them behind the display. Nanoleaf claims that the 4D V2 delivers enhanced color accuracy, featuring brighter whites and more vibrant tones, which creates a glow that brings the screen to life. Calibration has been refined to make the process simpler while delivering more precise results, and syncing performance has been upgraded to reduce lag during fast-moving content.

Beyond movies and games, Nanoleaf has also added a Rhythm feature that turns the 4D V2 into a sound-reactive system. With this mode enabled, the light strip pulses to the beat of music, transforming it into an audio-visual experience that extends beyond the screen. This makes the 4D V2 more versatile, shifting easily from immersive TV backlighting to party or music setups.

Installation has been improved as well. The new kit uses a flexible zig-zag light strip that attaches directly to the back of the TV without bulky brackets, making setup faster and ensuring more even coverage. Nanoleaf is offering the 4D V2 as both a complete kit with the redesigned camera and light strip, and as a standalone strip for owners of the original version.

Integration with Nanoleaf’s ecosystem remains a core strength. The 4D V2 can sync with the company’s light panels and bulbs, extending ambient effects across an entire room. With support for Matter, Apple Home, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa, the system connects easily with major smart home platforms and can be controlled alongside other devices.

For home theaters, the Nanoleaf 4D V2 adds cinematic lighting that reduces eye strain and heightens immersion during movies and shows. Gamers benefit from faster and more accurate screen mirroring that responds instantly to on-screen action, while music lovers can enjoy the Rhythm feature that transforms sound into light for a complete sensory experience.

With its redesigned hardware, brighter and more accurate visuals, music-responsive lighting, and broad smart home compatibility, the Nanoleaf 4D V2 is a meaningful upgrade that strengthens its role as one of the most complete bias lighting systems available today.
