Trackables App Provides Apple Health Insights Without Accounts or Cloud Sync

Trackables is a new app by a team of ex-Apple employees reads your Apple Health data and provides valuable insights without syncing to the cloud, requiring an account, or collecting data. The free app displays Activity Rings, sleep duration, heart rate, and daily steps directly from HealthKit with insights processed using Apple Intelligence.

Open the app on iOS 26 or later and your data is already there. No setup. No subscription. No ads. The app does not write to or modify your Apple Health records; it only displays what your iPhone, Apple Watch, and compatible wearables have already collected.

Recent updates added an Exercise History chart for workout trends, animated badges for ring goals, and dashboard layout options (“rows” or “tiles”). A snapshot feature lets you share your current dashboard to social media or messaging apps.

Features

The app features widgets with multiple sizes and designs that show a variety of health metrics. There are also lock screen widgets so you can see your information at a glance. When you open the app itself, you are presented with a simple interface that shows charts and visuals presenting your data, with a calendar at the bottom to view past activity.

The interface is very streamlined and fluid to use in a way that does not come across properly in just screenshots.

The app organizes health data into four distinct elements, each designed to be glanceable without navigating menus or adjusting settings.

  • Activity: Your three daily rings (Move, Exercise, Stand) with progress arcs and today’s status at a glance.
  • Heart: Resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), and your heart rate range for the day with trend charts to spot patterns.
  • Sleep: Duration, sleep stages, overall sleep score, a 14-day Sleep Debt tracker, and Sleep Balance charts.
  • Steps: Daily step count, walking distance, and flights of stairs climbed, tied to a customizable goal that fills as an arc throughout the day.

Privacy Focus

Trackables does not send your health data to a server at all. Your information never leaves your iPhone. The app uses only Apple Health as its data source, relying entirely on what your iPhone sensors, Apple Watch, and any third-party wearables have already fed into HealthKit.

The only telemetry Trackables collects is anonymous app analytics with user identifiers cryptographically anonymized on-device, IP addresses never stored, and no cookies or tracking pixels.

What You Actually Need to Use It

The baseline requirement is an iPhone running iOS 26 or later. Without an Apple Watch or compatible wearable, your iPhone’s motion sensors will track steps, distance, and elevation, but Activity Rings and detailed heart rate metrics will show as empty or limited data.

An Apple Watch or any HealthKit-compatible wearable adds the metrics that make Trackables feel complete: Activity Ring data via the watch’s motion and heart rate sensors, resting heart rate and HRV, and sleep tracking when you wear it to bed. The watch’s barometric sensor detects elevation gain and counts flights climbed.

Pricing and Availability

Trackables is free to download and use in its current form. The team has indicated that some features may become optional paid purchases in the future, but the core experience remains free and you will not see ads or encounter paywalls for core functionality today.

The app has already accumulated a 4.8 out of 5 star rating on the App Store which has a crowded market of fitness apps, including Apple’s own Fitness app. The minimalist approach and zero-friction onboarding resonate with users fatigued by settings menus and account creation flows.
