Notion has officially released its Mail app for iPhone, bringing email management to the platform’s growing productivity suite. The new app is designed to handle communication on the go, combining a clean mobile layout with tools that echo Notion’s familiar interface.
Notion Mail offers a focused inbox experience with built-in AI to help users manage email overload. Messages can be automatically organized into custom views, letting users sort communication by relevance instead of being locked into a standard chronological feed. This makes it easier to focus on what matters without losing track of less urgent emails.
The app also supports Gmail accounts, ensuring that users can connect an existing address instead of juggling multiple services. With offline mode, messages can be read and managed without an internet connection, syncing changes once the device is back online.
One of the standout elements of Notion Mail is its editor. Modeled after Notion’s familiar style, it includes rich formatting, slash commands, and @-mentions to reference content. Although integration with Notion databases and tasks is currently surface-level, it makes email composition feel consistent with the Notion environment users already know.
Other mobile-focused features include swipe gestures for quick actions and support for over 18 languages, which broadens accessibility for a global audience. The app has been optimized for iPhone with smooth navigation and a lightweight download size of under 50 MB, making it fast to install and easy to use on the go.
Notion Mail for iPhone is available now as a free download on the App Store for devices running iOS 16.0 or later. While it currently functions primarily as a standalone email client with Notion-inspired features, its arrival on iPhone marks another step in Notion’s broader strategy of expanding from notes and collaboration into communication.
