Apple’s Beats brand has introduced the Beats Solo 4 JENNIE Onyx Black edition, continuing its collaboration with K-pop star JENNIE. The new version keeps the same $199.99 price and April 24, 2026 release date, following the earlier Ruby Red edition from 2025 that sold out quickly and drove strong interest in the partnership.
This latest Beats x JENNIE headphones release focuses entirely on design rather than hardware changes. The standard Beats Solo 4 already offers long battery life, lossless audio support, and Spatial Audio, so this edition builds on that foundation with a different visual identity tied to JENNIE’s evolving style.
The Beats Solo 4 JENNIE Special Edition in Onyx Black includes detachable black bows for the headband, a color-matched carrying case, and a custom ear cushion featuring symbols inspired by JENNIE’s music. Compared to the Ruby Red version, this release shifts to a more minimal, monochrome look while keeping the same customization approach.
From a technical standpoint, the Beats Solo 4 Onyx Black model is identical to the standard version. It features custom 40 mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.3 support, and wired playback through USB-C and 3.5 mm connections. Wired modes enable lossless audio playback, which remains one of the key advantages of the Solo 4 lineup.
Battery life on Beats Solo 4 remains unchanged at up to 50 hours of playback on a single charge. Fast charging is also supported, with a 10-minute charge delivering up to 5 hours of listening time. The headphones weigh 217 grams and use UltraPlush ear cushions with an ergonomic design for long listening sessions.
Personalized Spatial Audio on Beats headphones is also included, with dynamic head tracking supported on compatible Apple devices. Built-in sensors such as accelerometers and gyroscopes help create a more immersive listening experience across supported content.
To support the launch, Apple Music is featuring a curated playlist by JENNIE inspired by the collaboration. In South Korea, a one-day pop-up experience in Seongsu will give fans a chance to try the headphones and receive limited accessories while supplies last.
The Beats Solo 4 JENNIE Onyx Black edition will be available starting April 24, 2026 through Apple’s online store and select regional platforms including JD, Coupang, and Shopee, with rollout timing varying by market.
