Apple has shared a new ad for second-generation AirPods Pro. The one-minute video focuses on the AirPods Pro 2’s improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature which offers up to 2x better noise cancellation compared to the original AirPods Pro.
The second-generation AirPods Pro was released in September 2022 and has received positive reviews for its upgraded features like the enhanced ANC function.
The improved noise-canceling feature allows users to fully immerse themselves in their music or podcast, without being distracted by outside noise. The improved audio quality is also a welcomed feature, as users can enjoy a richer and more detailed listening experience.

The new ad posted on Apple’s YouTube channel, features the song “Where Is My Mind?” by Tkay Maidza and shows a woman walking through a bustling city while wearing her AirPods Pro. With the ANC feature enabled, she is able to block out the loud noises and distractions around her, allowing her to fully immerse herself in her music.
Priced at $249, the second-generation AirPods Pro boasts several improvements compared to the original version. These include better audio quality, longer battery life, swipe-based volume control, and an improved built-in skin-detect sensor that accurately turns on or off audio playback.
Additionally, the updated charging case now features a built-in speaker and U1 chip for Find My support. The AirPods Pro case can also now be charged using an Apple Watch charger, in addition to the previous Lightning and MagSafe charging options.
In related news, a market research company recently revealed that the second-generation AirPods Pro accounted for 63% of all AirPods shipments in Q4 2022, making them the overall most popular AirPods during the holiday shopping quarter. On the other hand, the AirPods 3 saw weaker demand even though they boast several of Apple’s latest features.
