Even though I’m an avid Supercars enthusiast, I had absolutely no clue that there are two versions of Rolls-Royce Sedan, a Ghost, and a Phantom until I came across this super app, CarBuzz. It’s a brand new app for iPhone & iPod touch that hit the app store only a few days ago. It’s definitely a must have app for all hardcore car enthusiasts with an iPhone or iPod touch to stay on top with all the latest information from the world of supercars. It features hundreds of cars from almost every major car manufacturer and the list is updated automatically everyday with latest reviews, updates and beautiful images of the latest automobiles.
The interface of the CarBuzz is pretty slick and shows highlights from daily news from the automobile world. There is a menu at top left of the home screen that lists all the car manufacturers to choose a specific car from the app library for expert reviews, news, specifications and exclusive pictures of car exteriors and interiors. There is also an option to sneak a preview of “upcoming cars” in the next couple of years with their expected market launch prices and exclusive image galleries.
Another cool feature I found in CarBuzz is the Facebook Connect option where you can leave comments, discuss cars, argue the pros and cons of any car model with other CarBuzz readers and even send articles to your friends. I must say, even if you are planning to buy a car and your mind is stuck between a couple of options, checking out this app would definitely help.
