Apple and NBCUniversal launch Apple TV and Peacock bundle with 30% savings

Apple and NBCUniversal have announced a new partnership that combines Apple TV and Peacock into a single subscription. Starting October 20, U.S. viewers can access both services through one plan, merging Apple TV’s award-winning originals and Peacock’s live sports, franchises, and movies for a lower monthly cost.

According to the official Apple Newsroom, the Apple TV and Peacock Bundle will include major titles like Ted Lasso, Severance, The Paper, The Traitors, How to Train Your Dragon, and the upcoming F1: The Movie. Peacock’s lineup will also feature marquee live events, including NBA games starting October 21.

Customers can subscribe to the Apple TV and Peacock Premium bundle for $14.99 per month or upgrade to the ad-free Premium Plus tier for $19.99 per month. Apple One Family and Premier plan subscribers receive an exclusive 35% discount on Peacock Premium Plus, marking the first time Apple’s bundled service has included a third-party discount.

Matt Strauss, chairman of NBCUniversal Media Group, said the initiative “redefines what the customer journey should be for a streaming bundle,” emphasizing the simplicity and reach of the new collaboration. Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple TV, Apple Music, Sports, and Beats, added that the partnership brings “incredible programming to more viewers in more places.”

Both platforms are also offering limited cross-access to each other’s content. Peacock subscribers can watch up to three free episodes of Apple TV series such as Slow Horses, Silo, Palm Royale, and Foundation, while Apple TV app users can preview shows like Law & Order, Bel-Air, Twisted Metal, and The Real Housewives of Miami from Peacock.

Apple TV, which launched globally in 2019, continues to grow its award-winning library with over 2,800 nominations and 600 wins, including CODA and Ted Lasso. The service is available across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro, and most major smart TVs and streaming devices. Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming home, delivers a wide mix of entertainment, live sports, and news from Universal Pictures, DreamWorks, and NBC, including franchises like The Office and Saturday Night Live.

The Apple TV and Peacock Bundle will be available through both apps and their respective websites starting October 20, but users cannot subscribe through third-party platforms like Roku or Amazon devices.
