watchOS 26.2 and tvOS 26.2 beta 3 released, visionOS 26.2 beta 3 still in testing

Apple has released new developer builds for watchOS 26.2 and tvOS 26.2, bringing StoreKit improvements, Instruments fixes, and targeted platform refinements. visionOS 26.2 is the only platform that has not received a beta 3 update yet, and developers remain on beta 2 while Apple continues internal testing.

watchOS 26.2 beta 3 delivers several updates for developers working with subscriptions and performance tools. StoreKit now supports the AppStore.ageRatingCode API, allowing apps to read the current age rating from the App Store and check for changes. Apple has also resolved two subscription testing issues. Win back offers now work correctly in StoreKit Testing, and SubscriptionStatus.all no longer returns outdated data after a subscription change. Instruments sees an improvement as well, with the Allocations instrument now accurately reporting reference counting operations for native Swift types.

tvOS 26.2 beta 3 includes the same StoreKit and Instruments updates while also fixing a notable issue in the Apple TV app. Earlier developer builds displayed kids programming and parts of the interface only in English. Beta 3 restores proper localization. These changes help tighten the overall experience for developers preparing apps for the next Apple TV software update.

watchOS 26.2 and tvOS 26.2 beta 3 continue Apple’s focus on developer reliability across the 26.2 cycle. The updates improve subscription testing, strengthen debugging tools, and refine app behavior ahead of the expected December release.
