Optional optical inserts

Recognizing that the Vision Pro headset may not accommodate glasses, Apple has partnered with ZEISS to offer optional optical inserts. Priced at $99 for “Readers” and $149 for “Prescription” inserts, these magnetic additions allow users to enjoy precise viewing and eye tracking tailored to their vision requirements.

It’s important to note that glasses wearers will need a valid prescription, and not all prescriptions may be supported.

Extended battery life

In a surprising update, Apple revealed that the external battery included with the Vision Pro supports up to 2.5 hours of 2D video playback. This enhancement, half an hour more than in “general use,” makes the headset an even more attractive option for users keen on an immersive multimedia experience. Apple defines “general use” as tasks like video playback, internet browsing, spatial video capture, and FaceTime.
