In a recent press release, the tech giant provided a sneak peek into what users can expect with their Vision Pro purchase, including a range of accessories to enhance the overall experience.
Apple Vision Pro offers customizable fit, vision solutions, and 2.5-hour video playback
What comes in the box?
The Vision Pro comes equipped with an array of accessories to cater to different user preferences. The package includes a Solo Knit Band and a Dual Loop Band, offering users the flexibility to choose the fit that suits them best.
Additionally, the headset features a Light Seal, two Light Seal Cushions, an Apple Vision Pro Cover, a Polishing Cloth, an external battery, a USB-C charging cable, and a USB-C power adapter.
Dual Loop Band
One standout accessory is the Dual Loop Band, which boasts adjustable upper and lower straps for a personalized fit. This thoughtful design ensures that users can customize the headset’s fit to enhance comfort during extended use.
Optional optical inserts
Recognizing that the Vision Pro headset may not accommodate glasses, Apple has partnered with ZEISS to offer optional optical inserts. Priced at $99 for “Readers” and $149 for “Prescription” inserts, these magnetic additions allow users to enjoy precise viewing and eye tracking tailored to their vision requirements.
It’s important to note that glasses wearers will need a valid prescription, and not all prescriptions may be supported.
Extended battery life
In a surprising update, Apple revealed that the external battery included with the Vision Pro supports up to 2.5 hours of 2D video playback. This enhancement, half an hour more than in “general use,” makes the headset an even more attractive option for users keen on an immersive multimedia experience. Apple defines “general use” as tasks like video playback, internet browsing, spatial video capture, and FaceTime.
Entertainment and games
Apple Vision Pro promises an unparalleled entertainment experience, transporting you to the heart of movies and TV shows from platforms like Apple TV+, Disney+, Max, and more. The Apple TV app brings 150 3D titles to users. In addition to this, the new Apple Immersive Video feature offers 180-degree 3D 8K recordings enhanced by Spatial Audio.
For gamers, the headset offers 250 Apple Arcade titles with spatial audio and gameplay designed for the Vision Pro. These titles include What the Golf?, Super Fruit Ninja, and more.
