Dispatch is coming to iOS and Android on December 9, 2026, just over a year after the superhero comedy game first launched. The first four episodes are free on phones, and the full game unlocks for $19.99 USD, with prices varying by region.
AdHoc Studio announced the mobile release in its one-year anniversary post, which also says more than five million players have joined the team since launch. Pre-registration is open on Google Play, and App Store pre-orders are listed as coming soon.
Dispatch on iPhone Is Free for Four Episodes, Then $19.99 for the Rest
Dispatch has eight episodes, so the free portion covers the opening half of the story. After that, you choose whether to unlock the rest. The phone version is the base game rebuilt for touch and vertical play.
Besides iOS and Android, Dispatch supports Google Play Games on PC. It will be available in every region where the PC and console versions are sold, except China and Japan.
The mobile release adds a story-driven game with a paid unlock to an App Store where Apple has said premium games are growing. Recent arrivals include Sifu and No Man’s Sky.
Commentary and Storyboard Modes Are Live Now for Deluxe Edition Owners
The anniversary also brings two behind-the-scenes modes to the Digital Deluxe Edition on every platform where it is sold. Cast and Crew Commentary runs more than 16 hours across all eight episodes, with cast members including Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey and Travis Willingham. You pick a Cast or Crew track in Settings, and your story choices change which commentary you hear.
Storyboard Mode plays every episode as the original storyboard animatics, so you can see how scenes and characters were designed before animation. Deluxe Edition DLC owners get both modes free. Nintendo Switch players need to download the new DLC pack first.
Everyone else can upgrade for $10.99, currently 20% off on Steam and Xbox. The Digital Deluxe Edition upgrade bundles four things.
- Storyboard Mode
- Cast and Crew Commentary
- The digital art book
- All four digital comics
The physical Deluxe Edition for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch 2 carries both modes on the disc or cartridge. Each copy includes a 16-page pocket edition of SDN’s Guide to Dispatching, a two-sided poster and a soundtrack code, and AdHoc Studio is aiming to start shipping this holiday season.
The Anniversary Also Brings a Vinyl Soundtrack, an Art Book and a Live Concert
The Dispatch soundtrack is up for order as a three-record vinyl set in Prime black and Astral colored editions, sold exclusively through Lost In Cult Records. It starts shipping in mid-November 2026. A hardcover Design Works book and collectible box follows in 2027, with pre-order details due at the end of November.
AdHoc Studio is also hosting Dispatch: Night Shift, a live music night at AVALON Hollywood in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 3. Doors open at 6pm, the event is 21+, and email subscribers get a pre-sale code on October 28.
