Latest reports claim that the iPhone 18 Pro will ship in Dark Cherry, Sky Blue, and Black, marking a complete color reset that would abandon Silver for the second consecutive year and reintroduce a shade Apple reportedly rejected for the iPhone 17 Pro.
Leaked Fixed Focus Digital posted on Weibo that the iPhone 18 Pro has entered full mass production, providing what amounts to the first significant departure from the four-color consensus (Dark Cherry, Light Blue, Dark Gray, and Silver) that had circulated since April 2026. The leaker stated that Silver will “most likely” not be offered and added in a follow-up reply that they have not seen evidence of that color’s existence in China.
If accurate, this lineup would mean Apple is replacing all three iPhone 17 Pro colors wholesale rather than carrying Silver forward as a neutral baseline, a more aggressive reset than previous rumors had suggested.
Multiple outlets had predicted Silver would remain as part of the iPhone 18 Pro’s palette, placing it as a steady option for customers seeking a neutral finish. Fixed Focus Digital’s claim contradicts that consensus entirely. The decision to include Black is particularly significant because Apple reportedly considered both black and steel gray for the iPhone 17 Pro before dropping both options.
The inclusion of Sky Blue as a replacement for Silver represents a deliberate visual pivot. Sky Blue has appeared on the iPhone Air and MacBook Air, where the shade reads as extremely subtle in daylight, appearing closer to silver than a saturated blue. Apple may be betting that Sky Blue will satisfy shoppers who otherwise gravitated toward Silver’s neutrality.
Dark Cherry (also referred to as Burgundy in some leaks) has been the most consistently reported new color since Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman described it in February 2026 as a deep red finish Apple was testing. Fixed Focus Digital has previously weighed in on the exact shade, claiming a darker, purplish-red version closer to actual cherry is the correct one, rather than lighter, brighter renders that have circulated. The color represents a marked departure from the vibrant Cosmic Orange that defined the iPhone 17 Pro, settling instead into a more muted, wine-like palette.
