More Game Rating Systems in Windows 7

Game Rating Systems

Windows 7 build 6956 contains 10 game rating systems. Different games are rated differently for various regions and countries across the world, so a choice between the game rating systems provides a good way to control what your child should or shouldn’t play according to where you live. ESRB, the default selection, is the most well known rating system and while it should satisfy most parents, to provide them control over what their child plays and sees, the other standards are a welcome addition. Windows 7 has turned out to be focused a lot on choice with the unbundling of applications, and Microsoft is giving a lot of choices this time.

Windows 7 is the latest OS release that is a work in process at Microsoft. They’ve been really working hard at it after learning from the huge amount of mistakes they made with Vista.
