OS X 10.10.3 Release Updated With Photos App Changes and Emojis

Apple has released an update for OS X 10.10.3 to testers with changes to the brand new Photos App and new Emojis.

The new build number is 14D72i and is available via an update in the Mac App Store if you already have the first 10.10.3 release installed.

From Apple’s release notes for this build, below are the Photos app features that testers should focus on:

– Browse your photos by time and location in Moments, Collections, and Years views.

– Navigate your library using convenient Photos, Shared, Albums, and Projects tabs.

– Store all of your photos and videos in iCloud Photo Library in their original format and in full resolution.

– Access your photos and videos stored in iCloud Photo Library from your Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iCloud.com with any web browser.

– Perfect your photos with powerful and easy-to-use editing tools that optimize with a single click or slider, or allow precise adjustments with detailed controls.

– Create professional-quality photo books with simplified bookmaking tools, new Apple-designed themes, and new square book formats.

– Purchase prints in new square and panoramic sizes.

Some of the new Emojis can be seen in the screenshot below:

Apart from Photos update and new Emojis, updates have also been made to WiFi and screen sharing.

If you have a Mac Developer Account, you can download the new build from the Mac Dev Center or check the Mac App Store for the update if you already have the initial OS X 10.10.3 build installed.
