Windows 7 Release Candidate has been leaked!

image That’s right. It’s now available in the interwebs, in both x86 and x64 versions. The build string is the same as I had posted earlier 7100.0.090421-1700. To be sure that the ISO is original, Long has posted the file hash of the 32 bit build of Windows 7 RC.

CRC32: E8A1C394
MD5: 8867C13330F56A93944BCD46DCD73590
SHA-1: 7D1F486CA569EFFFFB719CFB48355BB7BF499712

So far, nothing new has been found in the build. Although performance experiences may vary from user to user for the RC. Even the old betta fish wallpaper is there. I had somewhat more expectations from the RC, but no worries, we still have RTM to go. I’ll hold back for the RC to hit MSDN personally, as my testing hardware isn’t in mint condition at the moment.
