Apple’s Oscar Ad Shot Using iPad And Martin Scorsese Voiceover

Apple is known for their beautifully shot commercials which showcase their equally beautiful products and the new ad aired during 2015 Oscars is no less.

With a voiceover by famous director Martin Scorsese, featuring excerpts from his commencement speech to the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Class of 2014, the ad highlights the iPad Air 2 as a versatile film making tool. It seems that the days of awkwardness when using tablets for photos and videos are history now.

The video goes through a journey of script writing, video capturing, sound editing and color grading videos.
