Apple has officially brought back the Hikawa Grip & Stand for iPhone after the original release sold out almost immediately last year. The adaptive MagSafe accessory is now available worldwide through the Apple Store online, marking the first time the product has launched globally thanks to a new partnership between Bailey Hikawa and PopSockets.

The return of the accessory comes alongside Apple’s latest accessibility announcements for iOS 27 and visionOS 27, further highlighting the company’s growing focus on inclusive product design. With new colors, wider availability, and renewed attention from Apple, the Hikawa Grip & Stand for iPhone is likely to attract strong demand once again.
Designed by Los Angeles-based artist and industrial designer Bailey Hikawa, the accessory was created specifically with accessibility in mind. Apple says the grip was developed in collaboration with people with disabilities affecting grip strength, dexterity, muscle control, and mobility. The ergonomic shape is meant to support different ways of holding an iPhone while reducing strain and improving stability during everyday use.
The Hikawa Grip & Stand attaches magnetically to any MagSafe-compatible iPhone and can also function as a stand in both portrait and landscape orientations. Apple says the accessory is made from premium silicone with a soft-touch finish that is comfortable to hold while remaining easy to remove when needed.
This new release introduces three fresh color options called Orange Swirl, Glow Blue, and Speckled Stone. Unlike the original limited-edition launch that quickly disappeared from stock, the new collaboration with PopSockets appears to support larger-scale production and broader distribution. Even so, Apple’s online store is already showing longer delivery estimates in some regions, suggesting early demand remains high.
Apple also announced a Today at Apple session taking place at Apple The Grove in Los Angeles on May 20. Bailey Hikawa will join actor Alex Barone and author Shane Burcaw to discuss accessibility, adaptive design, and the role of iPhone as assistive technology for users with different mobility needs.
The Hikawa Grip & Stand for iPhone is available now through Apple’s online store for $54.95.
