In case, the smartphone requires front and back glass repair, that will cost $58 under warranty. Previously, under AppleCare+ the screen and back-glass repair cost $99. AppleCare+ warranty can be bought at the time of purchasing an iPhone or within 60 days of the purchase through the Settings app or at the retail store.

The company offers monthly recurring payment plans for the extended warranty over a 24 months period. Although the cost of AppleCare+ varies from model to model, for $199 plan, for which users will pay $9.99 per month, and for $299 plan, users will pay $14.99 per month for 24 months.

Furthermore, AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss coverage gives up to two incidents of theft or loss coverage every 12 months. But to purchase the more comprehensive warranty, it is required that the Find My iPhone is enabled on the device at the time it is lost or stolen and throughout the claims process.
