Beats Fit Pro x Fragment Design collaboration will be available on July 7

Apple’s Beats by Dr. Dre has announced a special edition of the Beats Fit Pro in collaboration with Japan’s Fragment Design.

The collaboration marks their third partnership, and the lead designer of Fragment Design, Hiroshi Fujiwara, expressed excitement about this elevated take on an already dynamic product. The special edition will be available in two monochromatic options and can be purchased from Apple’s online store and selected retailers starting July 7, 2023.

Special edition Beats Fit Pro to be available in two monochromatic color options

Apple’s latest offering showcases the reimagined Beats Fit Pro in two minimalist designs, consisting of a white pair and a black pair. Both variants feature Fragment Design’s distinctive twin-lightning logo etched onto the earbuds themselves as well as inscribed on the accompanying case. The case also displays additional details such as the “FRGMT” logo and the Beats logo printed on its exterior.

“I am excited to bring this third collaboration with Beats to life. This classic design is an elevated take on an already dynamic product,” said Hiroshi Fujiwara to HyperBeast.

With a price tag of $199.99, these earbuds exude a sleek and timeless design. To promote the special edition, Apple has released a monochrome advertisement featuring US tennis player Frances Tiafoe.

The Beats Fit Pro earbuds boast ANC (active noise canceling) capability and offer IPX4 water and sweat resistance. The Fragment Design edition offers identical specifications, including features like Spatial Audio, the H1 headphone chip, and Siri compatibility.

In addition to the special edition, earlier in 2023, Beats released new color options for its Beats Fit Pro earphones, priced at $199. Today’s announcement also precedes the highly anticipated launch of the Beats Studio Pro headphones. The Beats Studio Pro is expected to support Apple’s Find My, offer spatial audio, and feature upgraded “voice targeting microphones.” The headphones will come with a new carrying case and boast optimized sound profiles known as Beat Signature Entertainment and Conversation.
