Bluetooth regulatory filing hints at launch of 15-inch MacBook Air

A new Apple entry in a Bluetooth organization database appears to be a Mac and could be the 15-inch MacBook Air, which is rumored to be in development.

Rumored M2 15-inch MacBook Air may feature Bluetooth 5.3

According to recent sources, a 15-inch (or 15.5-inch) MacBook Air is now being mass-produced. Separately, a new Mac entry has been added to a database maintained by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, which lists Apple as a “promoter” member.

The only information provided is that the device will support Bluetooth 5.3, but it doesn’t specifically say if it’s a Mac or not. As for the 15-inch MacBook Air, it is expected to be a larger version of the 13-inch MacBook Air. Accordingly, the tech giant will offer the MacBook Air in 13.6-inch or 15.5-inch size variants.

TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that it will not be called a “MacBook Air” but rather just a “MacBook.” The expert further suggests that M2 and M2 Pro variants for the 15-inch MacBook Air will be offered. There
