Apple announced the HomePod mini in three new bold and expressive colors: yellow, orange, and blue at the October 18 “Unleashed” event. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reports that the new colorful models will be available for order “early” this week.
Launched in 2020, the Apple compact smart speaker offers advanced technology for a fraction of the price of its original HomePod speaker. Retailing for $99, the HomePod mini is powered by an S5 chip that offers rich acoustic sound powered by computational audio and advanced software. The smart speaker pairs seamlessly with iPhone and comes with Siri support which is more private and secure. In addition to enjoying Apple Music in Spatial audio and lossless audio, users can also subscriber to Apple’s new
Apple Music Voice Plan powered by Siri for $4.99 per month to request the voice assistant to play songs from Apple Music’s vast library.
Consumers will be able to order HomePod mini in new colors to match their personality, or decor starting the first week of November 2021
Recently, several products received new color options as an upgrade like the 24-inch M1 iMac, iPad Air (2020), Apple Watch Series 6, and Series 7. And the company extended that color hue upgrade to its compact HomePod mini as well.
Starting early this week, presumably November 1st or 2nd, consumers will be able to order HomePod mini in a new color(s) to match their personality, the curtains, or the workstation set up for the same $99 price tag on apple.com. Apple also announced that the smart speaker will be available in seventeen new regions and countries in November, but there has been no report on that so far. Maybe, Apple will make the new colorful models available and launch them in new countries on the same day.
Expect the new HomePod mini colors early this week.
