The update also allows users to estimate the intensity of their workouts using the RPE (Rated Perceived Exertion) scale. The scale ranges from 0 (no effort) to 10 (maximum effort) and users can mark how easy or challenging a workout was for them. The Gentler Streak team says that for the most accurate estimate, “consider muscle fatigue, elevated heart rate, and increased breathing rate.”

Gentler Twist: To provide context for you self-assessement, the RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion) scale marks your usual exertion range for all workout types you have previously logged. When rating how the activity felt, you can tap the “As Usual” button, and the thumb will set on your average exertion position for that workout type. Or adjust the scale manually if the workout was outside the usual
