iPhone 3G S to be in the hands of users this Friday

The eagerly awaited iPhone 3G S will begin shipping this Friday, 19th of June to customers who pre-ordered it. Apple claims it to be the fastest iPhone ever which loads web pages, apps and games up to 2 times faster than previous iPhones, with features including a much awaited built-in video camera, voice control, compass, spotlight search, copy paste and MMS.

Spotlight search, copy paste, Internet tethering, landscape keyboard, Find My iPhone, Remote Wipe and MMS will be available through the iPhone software 3.0 update for existing iPhones, including iPhone 3G as well as iPod Touch this Wednesday. iPhone software 3.0 will be free for iPhone and iPhone 3G users whereas iPod Touch users will have to buy it for $9.99

For those who didn’t pre-order the iPhone 3G S, it will be available for sale at AT&T, Apple, Best Buy and Wal-Mart retail stores as well on Friday. Keep in mind that the iPhone 3G is still available for $99 with a 2 year contract.
