Mojang announces its new Minecraft Legends release date for multiple platforms

Mojang announced the Minecraft Legends release date, an upcoming action strategy game from the studio’s sandbox title. Minecraft Legends is coming on Windows 11|10, PC Game Pass, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5|4, Steam, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Cloud.

Minecraft Legends will feature two different versions, the Standard, and the Deluxe Edition

Microsoft reports, Minecraft Legends will officially be launched on Tuesday, April 18. Minecraft Legends is an action strategy game, developed by Mojang Studios and Blackbird Interactive.

We also got to look at the gameplay of Minecraft Legends, which promises an open world “filled with treasures and perils.” Users can play as the main character fighting back against piglins’ Nether corruption. Fight alongside friends and even some old enemies turn them into new friends as you battle back against the vicious piglins. Check out the gameplay below.

Minecraft Legends will have two different versions, the Standard, and the Deluxe Edition. The Standard Edition (i.e. the base game) for $39.99 USD and the Deluxe Edition for $49.99 USD, includes the base game with the Deluxe Skin pack for a discounted price.

In the Deluxe Skin Pack, you’ll get one hero skin, four mount skins to change the appearance of your trusty steed, and an additional mount skin when it becomes available post-launch.

he Deluxe Skin Pack will be available for purchase separately down the line for $14.99 USD, so don’t worry if you don’t get the Deluxe Edition at launch. Just note that the Deluxe Edition does offer savings compared to purchasing the base game and the Deluxe Skin Pack separately.
