New “Apple Brompton Road” in London will open for visitors on July 28, 2022 [U: Now open]

Cupertino tech giant will open a new location in London, the Apple Brompton Road with exquisite architecture inspired by local flora, an array of latest products, and a welcoming staff.

Only a short distance from the Hyde Park, the new Apple Brompton Road is located in the city’s “bustling” Knightbridge neighborhood. The store is designed to hold community events, special events, and seminars for customers to learn about which products are right for them and more importantly, how to productively use them.

[Update: Apple Brompton Road is now open to welcome visitors. Hundreds of customers queued outside the new location to participate in the scheduled community events and browse through the latest products.]

“Apple Brompton Road” opening will kick off with the launch of the new AR “United Visions” app, exclusive sessions, and more

The tech giant will take the opening as an opportunity to launch a new augmented reality (AR) app “United Visions” to honor the creative works of William Blake, the 18th-century famous poet and painter.

Created by Tin Nguyen and Ed Cutting (Tin&Ed), the new AR app showcases “the possibilities of creativity by reimagining Blake’s work.

Other opening weekend festivities will include a panel discussion with Nguyen, Cutting, and Just Blaze on the creation of “United Visions”, a performance of London artist Nina Nesbitt, and a live illustration session by Apple Creative Pros.

More interestingly, Apple Fitness+ trainers will join the company’s VP of Fitness Technologies, Jay Blahnik for a 3-kilometer walk and 5-kilometer run in Hyde Park and an in-store Q&Q session.

And for a limited time, the store will host Brompton Series on the last Thursday of every month through October.

  • Inspirational and informative talks by thought leaders in the wellness space, including Michael James Wong, Cat Meffan, Lloyd Kempson, and Harry Jameson.
  • Music workshops in connection with Apple Music’s Up Next series breaking down songs by emerging London artists using Spatial Audio; artists include Kali Claire, Olivia Dean, and Rachel Chinouriri.

The exciting, entertaining, and informational events will be held under the beautiful curved timber ceiling with light beaming through 7-meter floor-to-ceiling windows. The company’s senior vice president of Retail + People, Deirdre O’Brien said:
