RockMelt Browser now available for iPhone

RockMelt, the recently made popular social browser, is now a free download in the app store.  The social network based browser, that connects up to your facebook and twitter accounts, allows you to share websites with your friends and update your status from the app itself.

If you are already a RockMelt desktop user, then all your bookmarks, social networks, or RSS feeds will be synced up to your phone, and vice versa.  Just log in with your twitter or Facebook account, and Voila, everything is there for you.  You can even set a site to a “View Later” status, and read it later when you get to your computer.  At this time there is no iPad app, but based on the popularity, you can bet that one will be released soon.

For me personally, this will definitely be replacing my Safari as my browser of choice for my iPhone.  Watch the video below to see more about RockMelt.
